Dog Being Trapped In Tar, Barking For Help

An abandoned tired dog laid down on a fresh dumped tar.

The puppy actually did it on purpose. He was looking for a place that could keep him warm in the freezing weather of Suwałki, Poland. Unfortunately, the dog did not know that he would be trapped. When he realized, he started barking for help.

Workers nearby heard the loud barks of the dog as he was using all his strength to be heard by someone. When witnesses came to the scene and found the dog, they directly called Joanna Godlewska. He is an animal rescuer from the Niczyje Animal Foundation.

The good thing was that the brave pup managed to tear his snout out of the tar, so he could bark and breath. His fur was trapped in the tar badly.The animal rescuers slowly cut it off.The local police and fire departament were there to help too. Afterwards, it was able to remove the dog’s body from the tar.

The dog was then taken to a veterinarian for examination and to be treated for exhaustion. They removed more than 100 ticks from his body. The dog was given a soft bed and a warm meal.

It took him many baths to remove all the remaining tar to his fur and paws.Fortunately, the dog started feeling stronger. They also gave him a medical treatment for small wounds on his head.

The adorable dog, that was named Farcik, is starting to walk and he will stay with his rescuers until he is completely healed. He will be available for adoption once he is totally recovered. We hope that he will get healthy soon and find a forever home.
