This is the story of a puppy who was rejected by the person he trusted most: his owner.

SNARR Animal Rescue Southeast saved the dog’s life. They claimed it was of the saddest cases they have had to deal with. They found him malnourished and so weak he could barely stand, covered in sores, blind and deaf.

He was wasting there, alone in the garden of the house, not allowed to get in. The way they treated him was shameful. It is not known what caused the illness. It became clear as soon as they came to save him that, under any circumstances, he could not have survived in that house for another day.

One of the most curious things was that the rescuers had seen old pictures of Kai. Among them, there were many pictures of him with a beautiful smile. Kai was relaxed, with great physique and muscles. He really looked like a well-fed dog.

When asked what happened, the previous said that Kai did not want to eat. The man blatantly lied. So, he literally did not let the dog function normally as he gradually was done consuming food. Of course they took him from that house, and in the shelter he received the care and attention he needed to survive.

Luckily they got there, for the boy would not live much longer in that garden. He has an urgent need. Good thing it finally fell into good hands! Now Kai has a second chance in this world.

He is recovering physically and emotionally from the time he was practically abandoned despite his alarming condition. Sadly, Kai has remained blind. At least, he gained the weight his body needed. He seems calmer and less distressed than in the beginning.

It is hoped that they will soon adopt him and that he will be able to live the real experience of having a great family.
