Tiggy was found in a field in Northumberland, England. During the month of December, after a complaint. She is being cared for by the rescue group Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels (BARK) .

After being rescued, Tiggy was taken to a veterinary center to check her health. She evidently didn’t look good at all as she looked like a big sack of skin and bones . Also, the poor little 3-year-old did not even have any fur.

Apparently Tyggy was left on the street because her behavior revealed that she may have once had a home. The case moved not only the rescuers and the community, but also the animal welfare officers of the Northumberland County Council who decided to find those responsible.

“This dog was in a really horrible state. This is a shocking and inexcusable case of negligence and we are very keen to get to the bottom of how she came to be in such an emaciated condition and hold those responsible to account,” a police spokesman said.
