A Skeletal Stray Dog Never Imagined He Would Touch A Kind Soul

Pets are beautiful beings, but unfortunately many are helpless and must face the difficulties of life on their own. However, there are always people with pure hearts willing to give their best, so that each animal that is abandoned and in a deplorable state can receive love and lead a good life.

One of these kindhearted people is Jessica Rojo Savard , from Argentina. She came across a publication on social networks showing a poor abandoned puppy , quite malnourished, with mange and very scared standing in a forgotten street corner.

The person who found her campaigned intensely on social media to find a good samaritan to take this sweet and needy pup into their family. And for that reason, Rojo Savard did not hesitate to welcome him home, together with her cat and another puppy also rescued from her.

“I cried while reading the message and immediately after I contacted his rescuer to adopt him. Even in the picture they could not tell if he was a puppy or an older dog, it just did not matter. I knew that in his state,
adoption would be difficult ,” said Rojo Savard.

The puppy could not immediately go to his new family, because his mange could be contagious.

Days after being treated, Rojo Savard finally took him back from the vet after making sure it was the right time for the puppy to join the family.

His name came up when he went to the vet. Although he had gained some weight, his malnourished state was still evident. In fact, the vet’s assistant commented that instead of a dog, he looked like a meerkat, which is why they named him after Timon , the character in the Disney movie.

“His first week at home was a whole process. He was afraid of everyone and everything. I could not sweep for a week! Every time he reached for the broom he cringed and groaned. He spent the first day watching us, curled υp in his basket and distraught every time the cat came close to him. We had to earn his trust,” Red Savard commented on the process of the puppy adapting to his home.

His adaptation was quite long. His first two pets gladly sacrificed part of his normalcy so that poor Timmy, as they affectionately call him, would not feel intimidated or abused in his space. Over time, they have all become great friends, but one more member would come to the family.

Jessica was unknowingly pregnant by the time Timmy got home, and he has been the most eager and faithful brother there is. He is now part of the babysitters for Julia, Jessica’s baby.

Timmy no longer has a lonely, street life. He has a family nucleus that loves aпd protects him, and that the little boy knows how to value ane honor by giving moments of happiness and joy to his family.
