Six-Month-Old Puppy Is Finally Cured As Neglect Was About To Extinguish Her Hope

We are all conscious that it is not uncommon for animals to fall into the hands of careless and irresponsible people, who forget that they have a life under their care that they must attend to.

Such is the case of Kibby, a dog in Australia that was found in terrible conditions. Caslin, a Safe Perth volunteer, learned of the pet’s condition and immediately wanted to help.

The dog was in deplorable condition. Rescuers rapidly transferred the pup to Broome Pound for free by an organization called Jetpets, which is dedicated to providing a hand when it comes to extremely serious cases.

When Caslin and Steve, the volunteer case managers, picked her up at the airport, Kibby was very shy. However, it seemed as if she knew in her heart that things were about to get better.

And she was not wrong; her life would change completely thanks to the solidarity of those who were willing to help her and ensure her health and well-being.

Although shy, it seemed as if Kibby knew she was in the right hands. During her drive to the vet, she was loving and responsive. It was clear that one of the things that Kibby needed most, besides good food and care, was to feel pure love.

When she was checked by the vet, it was clear that the dog’s problem was not something recent. Unfortunately, she had been suffering the consequences of the negligence of those who were supposed to watch over her for months.

But since love makes everything possible, the dog managed to recover not only from the physical injuries she suffered but also from those of her heart.

Due to the advanced state of her scabies and judging by the conditions of her skin, both on her face, the back of her body and her legs, it was obvious that the disease had accompanied her since her first months of life.

It was a long time fighting against a problem that had been deteriorating, little by little, her immune system. Despite her pain, she remained strong, clinging to life.

Caslin and Steve trusted Kibby and saw in her a feisty little dog who was not about to give up. She very much wanted to survive and recover by accepting the help that she received.

Veterinarians gave Kibby medical treatment for her condition. A poor diet, as well as hygiene problems and carelessness, had contributed to the development of her scabies and the proliferation of her skin lesions in such an awful way.

Very soon they began to provide the indicated treatment to save her. With a lot of patience, dedication, but above all, with a lot of love, Kibby’s care began and the results were immediate.

Little by little the puppy began to get ahead and her mood changed considerably.

She went from being a shy and sad little dog, to becoming a playful and loving pet. Her skin may still be a little farther from reaching optimal condition, but there is no doubt that this pet will finally have the life of love and happiness that it so richly deserves.

Look how cheerful Kibby is now in her new home, along with her new little brothers.

The before and after of this noble and adorable dog is impressive. She managed to transform completely and you can see on her face the happiness that she feels for her because she finally has the protection of a family.
