The woman was on her way to work when she realised a trash bag next to a trash bin near her workplace cafe.
She made the decision to dispose of it by throwing the package back into the trash bin.
But then she heard weird sounds. A Chihuahua doggie weighing no more than 6 kgs stared at her from inside the garbage can.
The terrified animal was suddenly pulled from the garbage by the woman.
Uncertain what to do with the neglected doggie and afraid that her supervisor would show up at any moment, the woman called a volunteer coworker for advice.
Karolina, the doggie, was taken to the veterinarian and incubated overnight for inspection.
«She was slightly damp, chilly, hungry, and terrified to dying,» stated the volunteer.
After a week of freezing rain in the neighborhood, the diminished young doggie seemed to have fled the very worst.
Rescue workers were not able to locate her previous owners or determine why she wound up in a garbage can because she lacked microchips and there were no CCTV cameras in the neighborhood where she remained.
«We’ll never understand how this tiny girl got here anyway,» the guy stated.
We only understand she will never need to experience this again.»
Caroline was carried home by the woman who found her the next morning.
«The pooch is just incredible,» her new owner exclaimed. «She’s adorable and smart; she discovered toys last night, took a bunch of them, and brought them to my room.»
She is very popular with the owner’s daughter. They had clearly discovered a common language.
After all, the girl had always wished for such a doggie.
