For two women there was nothing more important than helping a defenseless little animal.
While there are many people who avoid contact with a stray animal, there are also those people willing to take care of them. This is what Jancis and Ashley did. Two women came across a dog in critical condition.
Her appearance was similar to that of a hyena. So her rescuers approached very carefully so as not to scare her away. The dog was rescued from a road in Bali, Indonesia , disoriented and very scared. The women tried to lure her to the side of the road.
When she was finally safe on the sidewalk, they couldn’t help but be sad when they saw the terrible condition she was in. The dog was covered with scabies, at a glance her rescuers deduced that she had other skin diseases.
Fortunately, she was receptive and fell in love with the care that the women were offering her. Jancis and Ashley transferred her to Mission Pawsible where they gave her the help she needed. Mission Pawsible is an organization that aims to help educate and inspire other people, until they find a forever home.
The dog was named Hilary Swank-y , a man they considered to be in keeping with her personality. Since she arrived at the animal welfare center, the dog revealed her character, hence her name. Apparently she had not interacted much with other dogs.
Curiously, she loved how it sounded and since then she has not stopped barking. She little by little she was coming out of her shell of her. As the days passed, this beautiful little dog made great strides. Her fur began to heal and her hyena appearance began to disappear.
She also learned to play and share with other dogs. It was not an easy process, but thanks to the women who rescued her and all the staff of the organization, she managed to leave her past behind and become an adorable ball of fur.
Dog was finally ready to go to a permanent home. This beautiful ball of fur was happy to be able to enjoy the life she deserved, one full of love and care from people who accepted and loved her from the first moment.
Hilary loves to bark, she has become a very mischievous dog and a lover of treats. Her story reminds us that every stray puppy deserves a new chance. Although many times we question whether we have the right tools to help them, we can always call on rescue organizations that act as the best bridge to transform their lives.
