Dog That Has Been Left Behind Won’t Let Go Of Its Owner’s Coat Because It Believes He Will Return For It

An abandoned puppy can be left with a heart broken into a thousand pieces . A thousand things would go through his head and he couldn’t understand what he did wrong to be left like this, to his fate, when he thought this would be his family for the rest of his life.

The numerous animal abandonment cases that occur every day at the Zoorprendente newsroom lead us to believe that it is fairly easy for people to separate from their pets. No matter how many years they’ve shared or the moments they’ve lived, if some human gets in the way of the little animals, it’s easy for them to brush them aside.

If people only thought more about the damage they did to these creatures with their rejection, they would probably feel a little sorry for them.

Honey is a rescued puppy who is the perfect role model for the bitter face of abandonment. The dog was left unprotected by the side of the road, where it waited for days for its owner to return.

The furry dog’s loyalty is unquestionable, because the poor man with the out-of-date looks spent all his time alone but clinging to his old self’s coat.

Surely the person who abandoned him had left him a shirt to reassure him and the dog obediently stayed and waited for him to return.

When the Paws 4 Hope volunteers found Honey, they couldn’t help but be moved by the sight. The puppy could not bear to be rescued, and in his heart he always harbored hope that his father would find him, but he did not understand that they had abandoned him.

To convince him that he should allow himself to be rescued, the volunteers had to carry a jacket with them. The jacket gives Honey some security, so taking it off will only make things worse and more inhumane.

Honey’s first few days in the organization’s shelter were stressful for him, the furry man unaccustomed to being with so many animals. Fortunately, the coat acted as a sort of amulet to control his anxiety.

During this time, the dog is also treated to heal the skin damage. It is clear that his owner is not the most responsible but still the little animal loves him.

But since good things happen to good creatures, loyal Honey is slowly recovering and at the shelter they will make sure to give him the love he needs.

“He was so beautiful, so patient, so calm. We will heal her whole body and heal her heart and put her in the best home,” said a spokesperson for Paws 4 Hope.

Honey hasn’t healed yet, but there’s no doubt those who dare to adopt her will have a loyal puppy by their side.

If he is so faithful to his former master, then he can still be with someone who truly loves him. For now, we’re happy to know that he’s not alone and even better, he’s been able to drop his coat, which is a sign that he’s adapting to the changes. And the pieces of her broken heart started to stick together again.
