She was found hiding in some bushes, so filthy she appeared grey. Frightened she ran into a mall loading dock where she soon went into labor.
The staff couldn’t open the loading dock door for fear of crushing her and her babies so ‘Cats at the Studios’ was called in to help.
A plan was devised to trap Momma Cat, and with the help of a specialized trap, she was soon rescued.
Food was placed inside the cage, starving she walked right in.
Inside the loading dock, they found she had given to six kittens.Weak, some of them need immediate care and attention.
Unfortunately only three kittens lived.
Sadly only three survived, now they are receiving around-the-clock care from staff at the shelter.
Momma cat was soon cleaned up and found to be a beautiful strawberry-colored tabby.
Without the staff at ‘Cats at the Studios’, both she and her remaining kittens may not have survived.
She now has her own forever home lined up and ready to receive her once she has raised her babies.When they are old enough her kittens will go to foster homes where they will be cared for until they are old enough for adoption.
Just like Mom, they will get their own forever homes too.
