Injured Dog Is Abruptly Rescued After Being Abandoned In A Brutal Anchorage

It is odd and inexplicable that there are people capable of harming animals. Sadly, this story is one that makes our hearts wince. A puppy was found in a very dramatic state after being abused. The event took place in Hardin County, Tennessee.

The poor dog was abandoned in a rural part of the area and had marks on his neck indicating he had been tied up. His body was injured and swollen, everyone feared the worst.

The person responsible for this atrocity tightened the ropes that he had placed on the noble animal’s neck.

“As soon as we saw him take off the reins, we could see the dog panting, he was really relieved,” the rescuers confessed.

Fortunately, after much pain, his fate was changed forever thanks to a good Samaritan who saw him and called the animal protector. After the animal welfare officers were alerted, they moved to where the dog was and immediately took it to a pet hospital.

“We tried to review and patrol everything we could in that area because it is a hot spot for abandonments. In this case, someone saw him running and notified the competent authorities,” added the rescuers.

The quick reaction of rescuers and animal advocates prevented this cacorro’s injuries from becoming more complicated.

“This action is purposeful. The zip ties are pretty cool and clean, they’re put there and tightened to the max,” the lifeguard added.

“The next morning the swelling completely disappeared. He was awake and happy. He eats and plays with some of our kennel technicians and our animal protection officers,” revealed Christopher Sikes, director of Hardin County Animal Services.

The authorities opened an investigation to identify the person responsible for the suffering of this poor puppy. The agents are determined to take the case to the end to find the person responsible and find out the reasons why he acted in this way , and most importantly, to do justice.

Currently, Sunny is receiving a lot of care, love and attention. He still has a long way to go, he will need many weeks for his recovery and probably several more surgeries to heal completely.
