Pitbull Stays Next To His Brother Until His Last Breath

A very sweet Pitbull stays next to his dying brother, and accompanies him in his last breath.

The touching images of a dog ,who tenderly embraces his best friend in the last moments of his life. He didn’t leave him even for a moment, unfortunately couldn’t help him. Even “when by now his body proved to be lifeless”, Heart would not leave Soul.

Heart and Soul (i.e.: “heart and soul”) are the wonderful names of the two furbabies. They were involved in a serious car accident, which cost the life of one for the two. The “altruism for the weakest” initiative is underway.

The young mission, inaugurated in 2020 in northern Italy, provides a hot lunch for all homeless dogs in the area. First some of the crucial moments of their long friendship and finally their last moments together. Heart and Soul have always been excellent in adventure companions. Since their first meeting they never have stopped living in total symbiosis.

“Stray Rescue of St. Louis” took care of the hospitalization of the two specimens after being rescued on the street. Even if we tend to think that the solidarity of our trusted ones is incorruptible, sometimes their wolf friends would seem to be able to easily overcome them. Research states ,therefore, that wolves preserve their social behaviors better than dogs.

According to what is reported in the various publications, it seems that the volunteers tried to do the impossible to save Soul’s life. Unfortunately, however, the impact with the pirated car have been fatal to him. The tragic news of his disappearance was regretfully. It was published by one of the recovery center volunteers on Facebook on 3 January.

Soul arrived at the clinic seriously injured, but the vets believed he would be able to respond positively to treatment. Only when they continued the X-ray checks, they realized the irreversibility of the situation.

“One thing remains certain, Soul and Heart will never separate,” said the person who witnessed the scene in which Heart lays his head on Soul’s body in his last breath.

We are happy to announce that Soul after getting her treatment, was set for adoption. Magically Soul got adopted by a wondeful family. They love him so much and he seems so be happy now.
