Deaf Dog Abandoned At A Bus Station Alone

It must be hard for any pet to comprehend why they’ve been abandoned.

It must be all the more distressing for an elderly deaf and blind dog. Simply abandoning a pet on the street is incredibly heartless and something most people will not understand. But imagine what it’s like for the animal to be left alone on the street when you cannot see or hear.

Sadly, it’s something that this dog doesn’t have to imagine. The elderly dog was found alone at a bus stop in the Polish city of Lodz, confused and distressed.  The poor dog had bumps all over her body. It appeared that she had suffered mistreatment before being abandoned on the street.

Furthermore, not being able to see or hear made the situation much more stressful for the dog. Actually it was obvious to her rescuers that she was in distress. The dog was taken to a local animal shelter, where she was able to receive the care she needed.

Meanwhile, the animal shelter is working with the local police to identify the dog’s owners. They will hold them accountable for their callous actions. While it’s unclear what events led to the dog ending up at the bus stop. It is a criminal offence to abandon a dog.

We hope that the dog can now live out her final years getting the love and care she deserves. Finally some justice was set for this poor little blind puppy.
