Abandoned Puppy In The Forest Waiting For Resuce

Hank was just a puppy when he was found alone in the woods by a passerby.

Hank was only 8 months old when a Good Samaritan found him in the woods. He didn’t seem like a puppy at all. Instead of running around the forest with youthful excitement, the lonely dog stayed perfectly still on a discarded dog bed.

The Good Samaritan called their local animal shelter, which dispatched staff members to the scene immediately to rescue Hank. They were worried that he might become aggressive during the rescue. He was in survival mode but were pleasantly surprised to find that he had a different demeanor.

They quickly took the dog to the vet, where it was discovered that the poor pup had a broken leg which he’d been living with untreated for over two weeks. His rescuers realised that he didn’t move from his bed in the woods because he was in too much pain.

As it was clear that Hank required extensive surgery, he was transferred to a veterinary hospital for surgery and recovery once he gained some weight. In the meantime, he got the best medicine of all, plenty of love and cuddles from all the hospital staff.

Since Hank’s story was shared on social media, adoption requests for Hank have flooded in. However, it will be a while before Hank’s ready to be adopted. But the most important thing is that he’s safe now and getting all the love and care he deserves.
