Dog Being Tied Up Under A Sink For Weeks

A family evicted an apartment and left a small dog inside in terrible health conditions.

He started to investigate where the noises were coming from. Sadly discovered that there was a small dog tied to the sink. The dog uttered moans of pain. Some food had been left for her. The dog had no access to water.

The family left the home, leaving her tied up with a plate with some cereal. The owner of the house spread the news on Facebook.

At first glance, noticed that dog had a deep wound in her neck. This was caused by how tightly she had been tied to the sink. Kate’s Rescue for Animals Foundation quickly contacted the owner of the house.

Puppy is transferred to Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital. There, they gave her the name of Autumn. It was necessary to operate on her as soon as possible to get her in shape. In addition to the serious risk to her neck injury, she was also extremely emaciated and severely dehydrated.

The collar that the little puppy had, was in terrible sanitary conditions causing infections in her neck. The veterinarian emphasized that everything pointed to the fact that Autumn had been tied up for a long time.

“Although they had vacated the house a week ago, based on her injuries it is very possible that she was tied up for much, much longer than that.”

Despite her delicate state of health, the dog was always very sweet and loving to everyone who approached her. After the operation she faced some fever problems, but she was able to recover.

Autumn did not wait long and soon moved to a temporary home with Christine Schamber. There, she was able to receive the necessary care for her recovery.

Schamber often fosters other puppies, but Autumn’s delicate condition makes it necessary to keep her isolated while she finishes regaining her strength.

Kim Dunn, a volunteer, points out the dog’s sweet personality: “She is very sweet and loves to be held. She values the company after being neglected for so long.”

It is a relief that they could find this little girl and give her a second chance. Otherwise, she would not have managed to survive in such harsh conditions. Now it is only a matter of time before loving Autumn recovers and finds a loving home.
