The main character of this story is BU, a dog rescued in terrible conditions about to die. She is so fragile, she has damaged skin, is severely malnourished, and she is surviving in the midst of so much loneliness and abandonment. It was a very moving rescue.
It all took place in Mexico, in Yucatan. Dania Gordillo is one of our readers and she shared the BU case with us. She was found at 7:00 AM and even though there was a lot of traffic, no one stopped to help her. But thanks to the loving eyes of Second Chance , BU’s fate was completely changed.
The first few days were very difficult, he couldn’t get up, he had no appetite, he didn’t want to continue fighting. But with love everything is possible, so little by little he went against all odds and improved considerably.
It was a miracle! She was brought back to life, she is very cute and playful. Her heart is so noble that she is willing to love humans and express gratitude for saving her.
His physical health was restored and his mental wounds were attacked by so much abuse.
But now BU needs a family, a home to receive her to give her love and companionship forever, she is in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. And they are willing to proceed with the international adoption process if all the requirements are met.
