Covered In Sores And With Little Fur Left, Four-Year-Old Dog Never Thought He Would Surive

Immediately upon we see a stray dog, we rarely have the motivation to make a small gesture of love that changes their life, on the contrary, we often see them standing in the distance waiting for someone to do something, when in reality we are the only ones like that. Who has to drive the change?

Ralph was one of those feral dogs that roamed from place to place trying to survive. He was thin and close to death when given a second chance and sent out onto the street.

Ralph is four years old and has a very sad- looking face.

Ralph’s health was absolutely terrible, he was completely malnourished and covered in sores.

He was transferred to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home where he received all the care he needed, after conducting some tests they discovered that he had a bacterial infection, as well as an eye infection and hearing problems.

He was rescued from the streets of South London.

Ralph needed special care, for several days he was under constant observation, they gave him some vitamins and antibiotics to fight the bacteria. Fortunately, all the volunteers were willing to help the helpless Ralph, who over time revealed incredible changes.

After a month of treatment, a volunteer offered him a home.

The little dog stole the heart of Wendy Tung, who volunteers at the shelter.

She became the little angel of the defenseless Ralph, together they formed a special bond, so it was inevitable that she did not open the doors of her heart and why not, those of her house. In this regard, she comments:

Ralph is a wonderful dog. He brings me company, lots of love and affection. Every day I think about how lucky I am to have him. He had such a difficult start in life, but he has always been loving, gentle and trusting. When I first brought him home, he was still a very fragile dog, so he was very upsetting to watch. There was no muscle, it was just bone.

The little dog struggled until his essence was completely transformed.

The recovery phase was not that easy for Ralph, at first he was very insecure, but thanks to his rescuer he is now a confident and very different puppy.

Were it not for Wendy’s record, we would not be able to contemplate the surprising change of a puppy that is enjoying the second chance he was given.

Ralph has shown us that all stray dogs deserve to be saved. Remember to adopt and dare to change the life of a puppy in dire need of it.
