Dog Abandoned Along With Her Objects Stole The Heart Of The Adopter Who Appreciate Her And Her “Golden Curls”

The elderly "Golden Curls" has been abandoned with a portrait and her favourite objects. Her discovery is a painful blow to the heart.

A furry old dog named Abby has been abandoned by her owners. The dog had been left on the street along with a bag where her small bed had been inserted, together with all her favourite toys and a drawing that portrayed her.

On March 4, the “Sanctuary Rescue” publicly informed that the dog was rescued by the volunteers of the association. This discovery left them thinking that it was a sad case of abandonment, probably not totally desired by those who had made this gesture.

Volunteers said her recovery would be “very painful”. The details of her “agonizing” improvement proved to be a precious starting point for giving life to a profound reflection on what must have been the dog’s past and above all, the commitment of making further knowledge towards its future.

Abby was handed over to the leaders of the association by volunteers from another shelter. Arriving in her new accommodation would have guaranteed Abby a more professional treatment to respect her needs as a “senior dog”, and to find the adoption that could really make a difference.

Finally, the association gave the good news to the thousands of users who were asking with concern about Abby. “A woman assured us that the elderly Beagle has found a home”, reads the caption to the latest post shared by the spokespersons of the Sanctuary Rescue where Abby had been welcomed.

The dog seems to have enjoyed every little bed in honor of her welcome, by the owner of the foster home who adopted her and cheerfully referring to Abby’s particular manner: “She thinks she is Golden Curls”.
