Due To His Advanced Age, His Rescuers Were Able To Recover Four Bags Of Soiled Fur

Many people tend to judge by their first impressions when they see a puppy abandoned to its own devices. They forget that under the fragile body of a small animal there is a pet waiting to be rescued and adopted by a family that provides stability and love.

This story is about an overloaded puppy with tangled and dirty fur. It is hard to imagine that under that messy hair lies a beautiful puppy with a sad and painful expression.

The puppy is an English shepherd dog that is “cared for” by the relatives of his former owner.

Gore Zhdanov was the owner of the puppy, unfortunately he lost his life and left him under his relatives care. To the puppy’s misfortune, his new family did not have the same patience and love for him as Gore. As time went by, his appearance changed radically, making it hardly noticeable that it was a puppy.

The family gave him a roof but not the attention a pet needs.

When the family received the puppy, they limited themselves to only giving him basic services like food, water and shelter. They gave him access to the balcony to prevent him from doing mischief in the street. In that small space, they left him with no affection or necessary medical attention, such as vaccinations.

The puppy’s appearance reflected total carelessness on the part of his handlers.

Fortunately, someone noticed the puppy’s presence and condition, animal rescuers were called and when they arrived they could not believe their eyes. The helpless little dog had huge tufts of hair full of feces and soaked with his own urine.

He was covered in heavy, dirty hair that made it difficult for him to move and breathe.

It took a whole team willing to work patiently to get the puppy back to health and condition. Six people worked for three hours to remove all the bad skin and hair that the puppy had.

In total, they filled four bags with all the remaining hair of the puppy.

When they finished removing all the tangled hair, the rescuers realized that the puppy was covered with sores and abscesses, so they gave him immediate medical attention.

Fortunately, an expert in bobtail dogs appeared and adopted the puppy. Elena Rivvo is the new owner of her and she is giving her all the attention and love necessary for her to fully recover. They decided to call him Cocos. Now, he is following a special diet of vitamins so that he regains his strength.

Cocos managed to have a happy ending and the luck of meeting someone who is willing to help him without conditions. There are many puppies that need us, so if you know or see any in unworthy conditions, do not hesitate to help them or call a foundation that watches over their rights.
