Some people consider abandoned dogs to be really strong, as the lucky ones manage to survive on their own. However, there is a very important factor in their lives that no one seems to consider, and that is that being forced to face the threats of the human world without any support, many must deal with sadness and constant fear for their lives.
This little guy was so scared!
Fortunately, there are several people who think of all the animals that live homeless , and someone was noble enough to contact the Hope For Paws organization to attend to the case of a puppy who , facing the cruel world after being abandoned, was in a state of shock that did not allow him to move.
Several people had noticed his arrival and tried to help him.
It all happened on Valentine’s Day when a woman called the organization reporting a tiny dog that was living in a small neighborhood. The neighbors looked for a blanket for him to take shelter, but the little animal was terrified, did not move and seemed very upset.
With great care some volunteers placed a leash to hold him!
Upon arrival, the Hope For Paws volunteers were able to clearly see the puppy that did not stop trembling with fear, so with great care and affection they approached. Loreta Fankonyte was the volunteer who was in charge of having contact with the puppy , caressing him a little to convince him to let himself be put on a leash.
Although it was not an easy task, the puppy seemed to begin to understand!
The unfortunate pup was too alarmed and his fear made him react aggressively; but even so, Loreta managed to show him that he could trust her and once he finished adjusting the strap around her neck, he was able to lift him up in her arms. After this, the volunteers decided to name the dog Scooby-Roo.
Soon the life of this puppy would be completely different!
Every second with the volunteers seemed to convince Scooby-Roo that all was not lost, and it was impressive how his countenance changed rapidly as they headed in the van to the hospital where they would check on the pup’s condition.
A hot bath always helps after such a scary day.
Once the vets finished their work, they found that the puppy was in good physical condition, just a little underweight , and although his emotional health was still not entirely stable, everything seemed to indicate that very soon Scooby-Roo would be ready to be a happy puppy again.
Although there was still a lot to do Scooby-Roo already saw much better!
To end the day, Loreta gave Scooby-Roo one of the best remedies for a difficult day, a hot bath that would prepare him to arrive at The Forgotten Dog Foundation’s temporary foster home, where he began his rehabilitation to join a family . permanent human.
Today and thanks to a lot of care, affection and games, Scooby-Roo has become a happy puppy. For now, this cute and brave puppy is looking for a home full of love where he can spend his days giving love to his new owners, and the foundation where he is is doing everything possible to make his dream come true.
