A man randomly finds a mysterious box outside his home in North Carolina. Being scared to take a look of what was inside of it, he never thought he would find some beautiful newborn black bears, with the cutest spike in the world.

Cornelius Williams went out shopping for just 10 minutes and returned to find a cardboard box on his doorstep.

The man looked inside the mysterious package and found two small furry animals, wrapped in a gray sweater, which he thought might be puppies.

“I saw the box right in my driveway, near my car. The noise coming from it was the reason why he was so nervous. It was a hissing noise,” Williams said.

Still frustrated by the situation, the man chose to call the Camden County Sheriff’s Office to help with the babies. Upon arrival at the Williams home, officers identified the animals as black bear cubs, not puppies.

Authorities still are not aware of who placed the puppies on the man’s doorstep or where the small animals came from.

You have to wonder who put them in the box. Why did they put them in the box? Why are they being sent to this particular address? That has yet to be determined,” said officer Kevin Jones.

Although the bears look incredibly adorable, behind their beautiful and adorable appearance lies a sad truth: those babies were held by their mothers from the side. Their eyes were still closed and their tallness defined that probably, they were only a month old.

Faced with the strange situation, officers decided to call the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission(NCWRC) to safely move the cubs. The tiny bears would immediately have medical attention at a zoo facility in the area.

“How can they take those little bears from their mother? She must be desperately looking for them. It’s so sad,” one netizen commented.

It is unfortunate that these beautiful puppies have been kidnapped and, when they open their eyes, the first thing they see is not their beloved mother who needs them so much and must be heartbroken by their absence.

“Who took them from their mother? If she had seen them come into my yard, I would have been a happy meal,” Williams said.
