Life on the streets can be tough for an animal. You have to worry about finding food and water, a place to sleep, and also, sadly, you have to worry about humans who couldn’t care less about you.
The baby cow in the video, named Bambi by his rescuers, was found immobile on the side of the road. His hoof had been crushed by a vehicle, but thankfully a good Samaritan wrapped his injured leg up to stop the bleeding and then called the right people
We’re no strangers to the amazing lengths that the people at this rescue organization are willing to go for animals, so even though his mother didn’t realize it at first, this baby cow was in good hands.
We can only imagine how rough mama cow’s day was; how helpless she must have felt when her baby got hurt and the fear she felt when strange humans came to take her baby away. Lucky for her (and Bambi), the rescuers helped ease mama cow’s fears by bringing her along to the rescue center, so her little one would never leave her sight.
Cows are intelligent, emotional, and social creatures and the bond between a mother and her baby is powerful.
The good news, the fantastic rescue team was able to help this little one and make him all better! Just look at how Bambi literally jumped for joy as he played and cuddled with his new friends, both human and cow.
