Owner Shoots His Loving Puppy In The Face Because He Was Sick Of Her Being ‘Too Happy’

There is nothing more adorable than a cute little puppy. We all can agree. Unfortunately, we live in a world where there are still many people willing to hurt an innocent animal and all for the most absurd reasons. Ice is a puppy who was found with a terrible injury to his face.

Ice spent three days without medical attention. No one explains how he managed to survive after so long. They had left him in a cage in the middle of the woods after giving him a gunshot wound. His story is a sad reminder of the terrible treatment many puppies are subjected to.

“Ice is living proof of the power of man for the greater evil, but also for the greater good.”

After a series of investigations, the authorities managed to find the culprit. He had been none other than Ice’s owner and claimed that he had done such a terrible thing just because Ice was happy all the time. Ice was moved to the Save a Greek Stray shelter (SAGS). It was one of the most heartbreaking cases, but one thing was clear: Ice really wanted to live.

“It was a very difficult case, but his great spirit inspired the vets. He never stopped being loving.”

Even after going through something so outrageous, the cute little dog did nothing but wag his tail from side to side to fully enjoy the few days he was out of the operating room.

Ice received surgeries and treatment for 4 months. The wound on his face managed to heal and the vets made a skin graft taken from his neck.

Over time, the scar from his painful past healed and he even began to grow thicker, more striking fur right there.

“It gives him a very special look. But it is a constant reminder of all the pain he went through.”

Now, it was just a matter of hoping that Ice met a perfect family for him. He began to spend his days in his shelter and continued to show his will to live. Unfortunately, the huge mark on his face could be off-putting to many.

“Having won a great battle, it seems that nothing can hurt him except rejection.”

His rescuers, however, knew that his huge heart would soon win someone over . He was still a puppy eager to play and give all the love he had inside of him.
