In Grado, Spain, a small mastiff was recently found in a dumpster. The puppy was left in a bag.
Many organizations such as Grado Valles Animal Shelter invited all members of the community to help find who is responsible and get the weight on it.
What is suspicious is that the person who abandoned him did not live there but moved in with the sole purpose of abandoning the puppy.
The organization responsible for the care of the puppy the staff named Luther, is receiving all kinds of grants and aid to save the life of the puppy.
On one of his legs he has two open wounds. Luther has a high fever and the results of the blood tests were also alarming. He will receive blood donations from other puppies from the fondatuon’s volunteers.
One of the most alarming things is that they found many foreign objects in his stomach . It has plastic objects, a piece of metal the size of a two-euro coin, and remnants of aluminum foil.
Furthermore, Luther has many parasites. The veterinarians have not yet been able to identify the type of parasitein order to give him the appropriate treatment. He is receiving morphine as a pain reliever to prevent him from suffering further. In his condition, any surgery is high risk.
However it is essential that he receives the operation in order to survive. The mistreatment and terrible conditions to which they had to subject such a small puppy.
UPDATE: The Guardian’s application for a family to adopt a child for Luther has received hundreds of generous offers. Finally he was adopted.
