Macy’s litter of kittens were just a week old when the little feline family were found. A local shelter took in the mother cat and her babies and was impressed by Macy’s care for her kittens.
Macy and her kittens hadn’t been at the shelter long when another litter of kittens were found outside. However, these kittens had no mum around to care for them. Knowing how important it is for such young kittens to have a mum, the rescuers devised a purrfect plan.
Back at the shelter, the kittens were introduced to Macy. In the hope that she would accept them as her own. And without hesitation, the loving cat took them in with open paws. Immediately started nursing them as her own. Now a mother of two litters, Macy was caring for a total of 10 kittens, but that didn’t seem to phase her.
The kittens soon grew into playful, mischievous young cats, enjoying nothing more than a good wrestle with each other or their mum’s tail. The feline family have left foster care, and some kittens have been adopted.
Macy is now looking forward to finding her own forever home. In addition can get all the attention she wants in a place she can call her own.
