Stray Dog Shows The Sweetest Smile When She Realizes That She Is Finally Rescued

Rescuing stray dogs is not an easy thing as most of them can be skittish and scared, so, being careful and gentle is the way to save them. However, sometimes rescuing a stray dog can take a long time until they trust the people who try to save them.

That is exactly what happened with an animal rescuer called Suzette Hall, who was able to save a local dog after weeks of patience. The founder of Logan’s Legacy Rescue has helped rescue tens of animals in need, but she had a little trouble with this dog.

The condition the poor dog was in, wandering in an industrial area in L. A., became recognizable for her after receiving a phone call. After arriving to the scene, she knew how difficult the mission was as she tried many ways like food and traps, but to no avail.

One day, she was so close from getting the dog on a leash, but the dog had made up her mind, run away, and disappeared after that!

Suzette said that she thought that the dog was gone for sure as she spent days coming back to the scene in hopes she would find the dog. After being disappointed to see the dog nowhere again, she received another call about another dog in need, so, she went right away.

When Suzette arrived on the scene, she was completely surprised to find the same dog, that had disappeared! This time Suzette was able to put a leash on the neck of the dog, that in fact was very happy to be rescued.

Once rescued, Suzette immediately drove the pup to the vet to see if she had any health problems due to the poor living condition. There, the little pup got rid of her dirty fur and resulted negative for all diseases. What that adorable dog needed was a warm bath and a great meal!

Suzette did not change the dog’s name “Worth”, as she believed that all the trouble she did to save her was “worth” of it all. Suzette decided to foster Worth until she finds a forever home for her. What a heartwarming ending!
