Abandoned Puppy Wrapped In A Plastic Bag, Shivering With Cold And Lack Of Oxygen

A few weeks ago a puppy was found abandoned on the side of the road closed in a plastic bag, the little one was shivering with cold and fear.

The puppy, a Shih Tzu specimen, was rescued by some people who happened to pass by that road by chance and created a Tik Tok account uploading dog video. Dirty, undernourished and shivering, the little one was brought home by the boys who rescued him and named him Elvis.

They immediately realized that the little dog had health problems. In a short time, the video that shows him shaking uncontrollably wrapped in a towel after his bath went around the world, won the hearts of thousands of web users.

Unfortunately, as explained in the captions accompanying the videos, the poor dog’s trembling is not only due to fear and cold. Left in the sealed plastic bag for too long, little Elvis suffered from lack of oxygen to his brain, which resulted in neurological damage.

The veterinary checks also showed that the puppy, in addition to the neurological damage, is suffering from a spinal disease. Elvis will have to undergo surgery to fix this problem and then he will have to do physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, underwater treadmill and acupuncture.

He urgently needs spinal injections and the guys who saved him are doing everything they can for him. For his part, the puppy is demonstrating that he is fighting with all his might. Elvis’ treatment costs more than $5,000.
