Poor Cat Was Shoot With A Shotgun And Almost Lost His Life

The community of Dogliani was affected by a recent event involving a cat. The black feline found himself fighting between life and death after someone seriously injured him in the back, shot with a shotgun.

It happened precisely in La Bra. Bleicky is a raven-haired cat with golden eyes who has been battling between life and death for days. The feline was seriously injured with pellets compatible with those usually used for hunting rifles. The cat’s owners are still incredulous about all of this.

The owner said: “On Monday 6 March Bleicky returned home. He have been missing since Saturday morning. Happiness faded immediately when I realized that my little one had a huge gash between his shoulder blades.”

A smug coward with a rifle in his hand had shot him mercilessly in Dogliani, near via Torino. Despite the pain from the wound, which in the meantime had become infected, the poor little animal managed to drag himself along until he reached his house and those who love him.

The scare was immense but the disgust for the abominable gesture is even more so. The request for help from the vet was immediate and despite the late hour she still came to provide at least first aid. The owners immediately went to the veterinary clinic and after taking an X-ray.

They saw that there were several lead pellets inside the wound. On Tuesday, 7 March, he underwent an expensive operation useful to eliminate the numerous dots that he had in his body. Bleicky underwent surgery, but two of the pellets could not be removed because they were too close to his spine.

Bleicky is not completely out of danger yet, but luckily the operation went well and the staff and owners hope he can recover as quickly as possible. Now he is on analgesics, opiates, painkillers and antibiotics.

He didn’t eat anything but he recognized them when they went to see him taking the deserved comfort cuddles. They hope there are no complications. They were shocked by this atrocious act and wonder what can be done to track down the culprit.
