When he took him in his arms, he realized the magnitude of his injuries, the puppy was mutilated and very malnourished. He was a small bundle of bones. Luckily, the puppy’s suffering was over.

They later decided to name the puppy Cooper.

His rescuer took him to the car to transfer him to the shelter. At that moment the puppy smelled some dog food and began to eat, without a doubt, the poor thing was starving.

Cooper began to wag his tail, something that stirred the volunteer’s heart with joy, the puppy just needed to feel safe and fill his tummy with some food. At the shelter they referred him to a vet where he was hospitalized for several days.

They discovered that the puppy was only ten months old.

Cooper’s condition was delicate, he had a serious case of scabies for which it was necessary to undergo strong treatment. The puppy was always receptive, although he was weak and scared, he calmed down with the caresses of his caregivers. Love was undoubtedly the best medicine for Cooper.

At the end of the treatment, he was transferred to the DAR shelter.

Surprisingly Cooper’s fur began to grow, now it is very fluffy, soft and shiny. His entire face changed completely, not only how it looks, but also the inside of it, now he is a very happy and grateful puppy.

Cooper’s life is completely changed. Good news keeps coming; a family has come to the home and wants to take him home.

Cooper was adopted by a family from England.

That mutilated, sad, and mangy puppy has completely transformed. Now he only has happy days with his new family. We are delighted and grateful towards the entire DAR team for giving the most vulnerable dogs the opportunity to be happy and to feel loved.
