Exhausted Pregnant Dog Collapsed In The Middle Of Street

This is the story of a pregnant dog found lying on the shoulder of the road. Her life and that of her young were in danger.

Recently, the rescue center Guardians Of All Voiceless (GOAV) received a call from the witness. He reported the state of abandonment in which the dog was found. Without hesitation, a group of rescuers organized themselves and went to the place where she was.

Upon arrival they encountered a discouraging scene, a white dog was on the verge of collapse. Actually her tongue was out and her strength seemed to evaporate. Their lifes were at risk so the rescuers had to act as quickly as possible to save them.

The rescuers rushed and carefully transferred her to the clinical center. They could not stop worrying about the fate of the dog and the pups that had not yet been born. The future mother was hardly breathing and constantly complained of the pain that invaded her.

Upon arrival at the rescue center, they noticed that her temperature was very high, which increased the risk for her and her babies. She was very weak, but she had the support and all the care of a wonderful team that took care of her at all times.

To help stabilize her, they administered intravenous treatment with all the required medication. Unfortunately she had no mobility in her legs and the condition in which the puppies were.

Within days of her rescue, the dog gave birth to seven puppies. Unfortunately two of them died. Although it was a painful loss, her rescuers are grateful to have arrived in time and to be able to help the brave mother.

Actually Guardians Of All Voiceless volunteers transferred the family to a shelter where they made a satisfactory recovery. Fortunately, the dog gained strength and began to walk. Just six days after her rescue, she showed such integrity that she no longer needed treatment.

Finally she had a voracious appetite and quickly revealed her sweet and cuddly personality. Her story became known among the locals and several people came to pamper her young. Also the brave mother who never ceases to amaze everyone by doing an incredible job.

Nowadays she cannot stop smiling and giving them all the love they deserve. Maybe she did not have the joy of growing up in a loving home with responsible people. But the fate of her offspring is already looking different.
