Maxie is a Staffordshire bull terrier who was rescued by an inspector from RSPCA.

When they found him, he was so weak that he could not walk. He has lost almost all the muscles in his legs. It was a reasonable decision. If anyone doubts it, they just need to see the picture of the dog.

According to Shaun, the 50-hour work week he had to complete at KFC sent him into a state of depression that would not allow him to take care of his pets. This argument is doubtful, because when a human is going through something difficult, it proves that animals can make the situation more bearable.

It wasn’t for nothing that they knew him as man’s best friend. What that person did has no justification. According to the RSPCA inspector, Maxie was a skeleton that was skinned when she rescued him. The animal weighs 25 pounds, and the average weight of that breed is about 40 pounds.

“When I took Maxie to the vet, he was very weak, which was worrisome. He had to stop in the road as he went, he couldn’t walk properly. It is actually a skeleton covered in fur,” said Rachel Leafe, the inspector looking him after.

In addition to being well underweight for a Staffie, he had a protruding claw. That was incredibly painful for him. The magistrates declared Shaun ineligible to keep animals for 10 years and also sentenced him to 12 weeks in prison.

He is to blame for the fact that at that time there was a needlessly malnourished dog, his duty was to take care of it and feed it but he failed. That is why he must receive the penalty that the law is imposing on him and learn the lesson. Really, it is incomprehensible that a person would subject his pet to something like this.

“He’s the sweetest and best dog out there,” said the inspector. And we totally agree!

Maxie is currently in the care of the RSPCA and has reached 40 pounds . That means he is ready to find a new home. The organization is sure to help Maxie find a place where he will be given the love he always deserves.
